Sangro A.S.L., with registered office in Piazza Roma, 11/A -
67030 Anversa degli Abruzzi; Phone and Fax 0864/49.595; V.A.T.
code number 00204960660; enrolled in the Chamber of Commerce,
Industry, Artisans, and Agriculture at no. 52387; Registered in
the Prefect's Register of Co-operative societies under Section 3
agricultural, at no. 87/1978.
Considering that stock farming,
especially in mountain areas, is regressing so rapidly that it
is risking total extinction together with the related pastoral
culture;
Considering the campaign to adopt a sheep, launched
in an attempt to avert the impending doom of stock farms of high
environmental value;

Art. 1 - The
number of reproducing subjects that can be adopted is seen from
the Company's livestock register, which is constantly updated.
Since each animal has an earmark by which it is identified
unequivocally, the subjects can also be adopted by name. In this
case, the applicant will directly receive the identity card of
the chosen subject or a paper or electronic catalogue.
Art. 2 - Upon
signing of the contract, a news service, for the time being only
in italian, will become operative. It will inform the applicant
periodically on the progress of the activity, on events and
initiatives that will be organised, on the results obtained,
fairs and other general occasions related to pastoral activity.
The Company's agritourist structures are let to the users at
reserved prices for overnight stays (except in the high season:
July/August and the main festivities) at a 10% discount for a
minimum stay of 2 nights; at 15 % for more than 3 nights; and at
20 % for 1 week.
Art. 3 - In
exchange for the sum of 190 per sheep, paid upon signing the
present contract in terms of purchase of a future good (Chapter
I Article 1,472 Civil Code of Laws), the applicant will receive
for each adopted sheep the following:
- Adoption
certificate, identity card and picture of the sheep
- 2 Kg of
pecorino cheese of any seasoning and size
- 2 Kg of
juniper-smoked ricotta
- 1 pair of
trekking socks
- 1 Kg of
salamelle di tratturo (sheep-salami) ; alternative for
vegetarians 1 kg of Caciocavallo
- 5 lt olive
oil

Alternatively
the purchaser may also pay the smaller sum of 140 and you
receive:
- Adoption
certificate, identity card and picture of the sheep
- 3 kg
pecorino cheese
- 1 kg of

salamelle di tratturo (sheep-salami)
- 1 pair of
trekking socks
- FREIGHT

80 in order to support our initiative and receive:
- Adoption

100% vergin wool trekking socks
- 1 Voucher
for one person, one day, full board in our farm (except in
the high season: July/August and the main festivities)
PRODUCTS CAN
BE DELIVERED IN ONE BATCH FROM FEBRUARY THROUGH MAY OR FROM
OCTOBER THROUGH THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER.
The products
will be packed in appropriate systems suitable for transport,
and guaranteed for long preservation of perishable foods (about
6 months).

Art. 5 -
Concerning matters not expressly mentioned in the present
contract, reference will be made to Title III - on individual
Contracts - Chapter I - on sales; Section 1 General provisions;
Article 1470 and following articles of the Civil Code of Laws,
Book four.
